Hurry Up,We're Dreaming(Oct 18th)
Anthony Gonzalez has been making great music since 2003. His latest, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is no exception. Electronic Dream PoP at its best, this double album is great for sunny morning drives or stormy sleepy nights, you should scan all 22 tracks and chill. You can get the single "Midnight City" off the new album for free on iTunes, for this week only, go check it out.
Neon Indian
Era Extrana (Sept. 13th)
Not as experimental as his 2009 debut album Psychic Chasms. Alan Palomo adds clearer vocals and steady beats to make this album a bit more PoPy, without losing the electro chillwave feel. Check out the song "Polish Girl".
Washed Out
Within and Without (Jul 12th)
Ernest Greene one of the pioneers of the new chillwave scene. If The Daysleepers went electronic this is probably what they would sound like. You really cant go wrong with Washed Out, this album is great, though its nothing new from what hes been doing. If you want to check him out I would get his 2009 Life of Leisure EP, one of my favorite albums.Within and Without (Jul 12th)
Bjork
Biophilia (Oct. 11)
Vespertine meets Volta. That's the kinda feel I get from this album. That being said it doesn't work to well. The CD as a whole is hit or miss. Basically if you like Bjork you'll find a few songs to be happy about, if you don't like her this album won't win you over. Check out "Crystalline"
Ladytron
Gravity the Seducer (Sept. 13th)
If you've heard one Ladytron album you've heard em all, nothing new here. Fans will like. Check out "Ace of Hz"
